Youth mountain run in Laag a complete success

In wonderful autumn weather, the girls from the Merano sports club dominated the event. In the U18 category, Anna Hofer from Rabland won on the 2,49 km long route in 9.41 minutes ahead of her teammate Lisa Leuprecht (10.07) from Lana. Annalisa Pitscheider from the Bozen Running Club came third. The Merano women even celebrated triple victories in the U16 and U14 categories: Julia Gamper stopped the time measurement after 2,18 km in 9.22 minutes, followed by Katja Mitterhofer and Julia Agethle. The U14 race was extremely exciting, where Eva Schrott was able to hold her own in 5.42 minutes, narrowly ahead of Klara Alber (5.43) and Magdalena Pircher (5.44). David Agethle, an athlete from SC Meran, also won in the U18 boys category. Agethle relegated the two figureheads from the Bozen Running Club, Manuel Nagler and Tommy Irsara, to places 2 and 3. Simon Olivetto was at the top of the U16 category, Leo Pedo was in a class of his own in the U14 category. Anna Thaler from Sarnen and Paul Werth from ASC Berg won the U12 race. In the U10 category, the day's victory went to Maja Cattani and Elias Tratter; in the youngest (U8) category, Marta Moretti and Hannes Prossliner won the day. Youth mountain run in Laag a complete success

The penultimate youth mountain run of the season took place in Laag on Saturday. Almost 100 runners from the U8 to U18 age groups took part. In addition, the youth national championship titles were awarded in the lower region.
