Youth mountain running season in Deutschnofen ended

The girls from the Meran Sports Club dominated on the beautiful circuit around the sports facility in Deutschnofen. In the U18 category, Lisa Kerschbaumer from Tramin, who competes for the Passerstädter women, came out on top in 7.44 minutes, clearly ahead of her teammate Martina Falchetti from Val Gardena (8.20) and Lisa Thaler from Sarnen (8.23). The boys' U18 title, however, was taken by Samuel Demetz from Val Gardena, who was able to hold his own in 8.01 minutes ahead of host David Hofer (8.06) and Emil Beltramba from the Merano sports club.

Anna Hofer from Meran secured the women's U16 class ahead of her club colleague Emily Vucemillo, while local hero Jan Ranigler was at the top of the boys' group of the same age. In the U14 competition, Sofia Demetz from Val Gardena left everyone behind, and in the boys' race, David Agethle from SC Meran was the fastest. Nele Kerschbaumer from LG Schlern won the U12 girls, Peter Thaler from ASV Deutschnofen won the boys. Klara Alber from Meran won the U10 age group, Matthäus Schwitzer from Sarn won that of the boys. In the youngest category (U8), Lena Hofer and Lukas Fill, both from LG Schlern, were unbeatable.

Youth mountain running season in Deutschnofen ended

This weekend the last youth mountain race of the season took place in Deutschnofen. Almost 100 athletes from the U8 to U18 age groups took part.
