Junior World Championships: Anna Stefani 10th over 3000m
After the excellent performance of Valentina Cavalleri from Pusteria in the 400m hurdles (qualified for the semi-finals), the second South Tyrolean was also able to put herself in the limelight at the Junior World Championships in Eugene in the USA in the early hours of Friday morning: 19-year-old Anna Stefani from Sterzing took an excellent 3000th place overall over 10 m and was therefore the second best European after Emine Hatun Tuna from Turkey. Stefani ran a new personal best of 9:23.12 minutes.
