Junior World Championships: Valentina Cavalleri 21st in the 400m hurdles
Valentina Cavalleri was eliminated in the semifinals of the 400 m hurdles at the Junior World Championships in Eugene, Oregon. The 18-year-old from San Candido took 1st place overall in 00,98:21 minutes, but clearly exceeded her performance in the preliminary heat on Friday, where she set a new personal best in an excellent 59,82 seconds.
