Karnutsch and Pircher won the Haidersee Run 2015

Gabriel Karnutsch was the quickest to cover the 5.000 meters around Lake Haidersee. After a third place in Sarntal and a second place in Oberwielenbach, the Möltner was at the forefront this time. He won with a time of 16:36 minutes. Second place, 17 seconds behind, went to Martin Mayrhofer from SG Eisacktal, who had already been on the winner's podium in St. Valentin an der Haide in the past. Mayhofer needed 16:53 minutes to complete the circuit and was therefore 2,6 seconds faster than third-placed Alessio Passera (Athletic Club 96 Bozen). In the women's category, Petra Pircher repeated her victory from last year. The Vinschger local hero from ASC Laas crossed the finish line after exactly 19:10,8 minutes. The experienced Renate Rungger from Sarnen came second with a time of 19:25,3 minutes. Third place went to Mirka Lorenzani (ASC Laas) in 21:41,8 minutes.

The VSS/RVD village run series continued on Tuesday with the Haidersee run. It was the fourth tour stop of the South Tyrolean running series.
