Lanziner narrowly missed his personal best over 5000m

South Tyrol's track and field athletes made people sit up and take notice with some good performances at the weekend. Trudner Peter Lanziner narrowly missed a 5000m time of under 14 minutes at the Belgian meeting in Oordegem, while javelin thrower Andreas Zagler took third place in Gavardo. Hermann Achmüller, however, had to give up the 100 km classic “Passatore” from Florence to Faenza.
