Lisa Seppi wins bronze at the Italian Indoor Championships in the pentathlon

Juniors back. Back then, Seppi scored 3.439 points, this year she improved by a single point to 3.440 points (new record). Seppi only had to admit defeat to the new Italian champion Giulia Sportoletti (3.888) and the long jumper of the junior national team Beatrice Fiorese (3.689).

Seppi ran the 60 m hurdles in 9,55 seconds, managed 1,59 m in the high jump, 9,86 m in the shot put and 5,50 m in the long jump. Seppi ran the 800 m in 2:29.61 minutes. Stefanie Messner from SSV Brixen came in 3.023th with 10 points, Martina Gatscher from SV Lana came in 2.834th with 13 points. In the U18 age group, 15-year-old Sophie Mayr from Puster took 16th place with 2.961 points. Mayr sets a new record in the 60 m hurdles with an excellent 9.09 seconds. Among the men, the best local was Matteo Paternoster from the SAF Bozen. In the junior Eptathlon he came 14th with 4.020 points. Two places behind is Jim Folajin Fonseca from Brixen, who had to withdraw from the 60 m hurdles but still came 3.339th with 16 points. There were also 14th and 16th places for the U18 boys. The two Bolzano athletes from Athletic Club 96, Nicolò Fusaro and Nicolò Tomada, scored 2.936 and 2.914 points respectively.
