Lukas Rifesser 8th at the “Kipketer Tribute” in Copenhagen

Things didn't go quite as planned for the middle-distance runner from Pusteria at the Athletics Games in Copenhagen on Wednesday evening. Rifesser finished the 800m in 1:48.46 minutes in 8th place, more than a second above his season's best time. The victory went to Jamal Hairane from Qatar with a personal record (1:47.50).
