Mair and Sieder win the 11th Keller-Bauer run

The 115 athletes had to cover the route from the Neves reservoir past the Chemnitzhütte up to the Sonnklarhütte. The finish of the Keller-Bauer-Lauf is around 2400 meters above sea level.

In the men's field, Joachim Mair, a top runner, prevailed. The 35-year-old from Rasen triumphed in a good 1:38.34 hours. Behind the Pusterer, Christoph Ties (1:40.57) and Klaus Gartner (1:42.03) took second and third place.

As was the case last year, Claudia Sieder was unbeatable among the women. The former five-time junior and U23 Italian mountain bike champion won in 2:04.53 hours, more than three minutes ahead of last year's runner-up Anna Gräber. Priska Gasser from Laion completed the podium, reaching the finish in 2:08.53 hours.

The traditional Keller-Bauer run took place in Pustertal on Saturday. Joachim Mair and Claudia Sieder were unbeatable in the mountain run over 18 kilometers and 1100 meters in altitude.
