Mairhofer and Bonvecchio win the Eppan Wine Road Run

Mairhofer celebrated his first victory at the traditional Überetscher run. The 47-year-old Eisacktaler broke away from the competition right from the start and celebrated a clear victory. In the end, Mairhofer crossed the finish line after 4,88 km in 15.57 minutes.

Adriano Pinamonti from Nonsberg came second, already 24 seconds behind. Konrad Schwalt from Vinschger took third place in 16.33 minutes.

Bonvecchio dominates the women's race The women's race, however, went to Elektra Bonvecchio from Trento. The 46-year-old, who already held her own in 2016, won the 3.660-meter run in 13.25 minutes, clearly ahead of Sonja Tscholl from the Bozen Running Club, who stopped the time measurement in 14.28 minutes. Mairhofer and Bonvecchio win the Eppan Wine Road Run

Martin Mairhofer from Villandro and Elektra Bonvecchio from Trentino are the winners of the 21st edition of the Eppan Wine Road Run, which took place on Saturday in wonderful weather in St. Michael. A total of 61 runners took part.
