Manfred Reichegger takes the 12th Mühlwald vertical kilometer

Almost 100 participants took part in mid-summer temperatures last Saturday. Manfred Reichegger from Mühlwalde ran the 3,8 km long route with 1000 meters of altitude in 36.14 minutes and was therefore 1.18 faster than Henry Hofer. Andreas Niederbrunner from ASV Rasen came third.

In the women's race, the victory went to Alba de Silvestro (46.45), who relegated Dimitra Theocharis (48.18) and Claudia Stauder (49.57) from the Pustertal Running Club to second and third place. The race in Mühlwald was also the opening race of the 2017 Vertical Tour (with Col di Lana on July 23rd and Hühnerspiel on September 3rd).

The local hero won ahead of Henry Hofer from Sarner. Alba de Silvestro from Belluno won the women's event.
