More than 100 participants in the youth mountain run in Oberplanitzing

Lisa Schrott from the organizer ASC Berg and Ivan Bazzanella from the Laager club Lenti e Veloci won the U18 competition. Schrott was even five seconds faster at the finish than the boys of the same age. In the girls' category, Schrott's teammates Sandra Martini and Stephanie Winkler were on the podium, while Bazzanella clearly won ahead of Leo Gargitter and Fabian Giovannini.

The girls’ U16 title also went to ASC Berg. Local hero Lisa Kerschbaumer won in 4.41 minutes, six seconds ahead of Maddalena Melle from Meran. Martina Falchetti came third. In the boys' category, Samuel Demetz from Val Gardena won. He won ahead of Alexander Malfer and Lukas Sinn.

In the U14 category, Ivan Domenici from Bolzano won ahead of Elia Haselrieder from LG Schlern and Leon Pichler. Sophia Stratman from the South Tyrol Team Club won the girls' title. Second and third places again went to ASC Berg with Lena Göller and Julia Paternoster.

Many young talents also took part in the race in Oberplanitzing. Niccolò Casadio, Hannes Mayrl, Rene Rieder, Sofia Demetz, Lea Perathoner and Magdalena Pichler secured their respective age categories. The LG Schlern narrowly won the team championship with 1118 points ahead of SC Berg (1022 points) and the Merano sports club (817 points).

More than 100 participants in the youth mountain run in Oberplanitzing

The fourth race of the South Tyrolean youth cross series took place in Oberplanitzing on Saturday. Over 100 athletes from the U8 to U18 age groups took part.
