Several top results at the Ladurner Grand Prix in Lana

All eyes were primarily on the U16 categories, because in exactly two weeks, on October 5th and 6th, the Italian championship for this age group will be held in Forlì. Some South Tyroleans are also hoping to achieve a top result there, like sprint ace Marie Burger. The 15-year-old from Vahrn from SSV Brixen was once again in top form in Lana and won the 80 m in a strong 10.27 seconds. This meant she improved her personal best by two hundredths. Alessia Goffi celebrated a triple victory. The woman from Val Gardena was able to hold her own in the 300m hurdles as well as in the high jump and discus throw.

Among the boys of the same age, most of the athletes who were called up for the Italian Championships did not take part. That's why there were no top results. Only Mattia Cruciotti and Mattia Bucciarelli from Bolzano were able to convince with two double victories.

The girls achieved top results in the U14 age group. Saphira Pitscheider from Atletica Gherdeina won the 1000 m run in a strong 3:20.70 minutes, Marie Laner from Merano won the 60 m hurdles sprint in 10.02 seconds. Franziska Baumgartner from Eisacktal came second, only one hundredth behind. Christoph Öttl from Passiria dominated the boys' competition, taking home three daily victories (60m hurdles, long jump, shot put).

The final of the Ladurner Grand Prix will take place in three weeks, on October 12th, in the state capital of Bolzano.
