Meran-Lagundo: The winners come from Switzerland and Trentino

In the women's category, Fischer, who comes from Switzerland and was recently slowed down by injuries, won with a time of 1:20,34 hours. She defied the strong wind in the Passer city and reached the finish ahead of Sarah Giomi. The woman from Bolzano, who had already taken third place in Kaltern, completed only the second half marathon in her career after 1:23,35 hours. Last year's top 7 overall winner, Pircher Petra, came third with a time of 1:24,07. In the men's race, Leonardi Massimo from Trentino came first with a time of 1:10,40 hours. For him, this run was the ideal preparation for the upcoming marathon in Cagliari. Just behind Leonardi, last year's winner Khalid Jbari from Athletic Club 96 Bozen came in second place. He recorded a time of 1:11,29, while third-placed David Andersag beat his old personal best by almost a minute with 1:12,19.

Eckl and Lahner win their first fitness run Angelika Eckl won the women's fitness run, which took place for the first time this year. She completed the 12,5 kilometers in 53,59 minutes. Claudia Gruber came second ahead of Hermine Reinstadler. In the men's race, however, Eduard Lahner was ahead in 43,54 minutes. He relegated Juri Radonani and Manfred Kritzinger to their places.
