Moser/Thöni win 16. Tiefroschtn X-trem

The Tiefroschtn X-trem run is run in teams of two, with both athletes having to reach the finish at the same time. That makes the whole thing even more exciting. In the men's race, under ideal running conditions, Christian Moser (LF Freienfeld) and David Thöni (Skialp Gossensass) clearly won in 2:13.32 hours, almost nine minutes ahead of Michael Nocker and the former 800 m runner for the Italian national team Lukas Rifesser . However, they missed the course record set by biathlete Lukas Hofer and climbing specialist Philipp Götsch in 2015 (2:10.08 hours).

In the women's race, Magdalena Pupp from Pusteria and Gerlinde Thaler from Sarnen, who came fourth last year, won in 3:15.04 hours. Second place went to Sarah Steinmair/Hannah Bielak (SSV Pfalzen/Natz-SSV Brixen), 1.31 minutes behind.

In the mixed doubles, however, last year's runners-up Anneliese Felderer/Markus Planötscher won the title. The two men from Sarn won in 2:39.33 hours, clearly ahead of the Puster duo Petra Leiter/Robert Hopfgartner (2:47.52). Third place went to the “Azzurri” in cross-country skiing, Ilaria Debertolis and Dietmar Nöckler, who are also a couple in their private lives.

Moser/Thöni win 16. Tiefroschtn X-trem

The 16th edition of the Tiefroschtn X-trem run on Saturday in Terenten was once again a great challenge for the almost 120 participants. The fastest of the day were Christian Moser and David Thöni from Wipptal, who completed the 23 km route with 1580 meters of altitude in 2:13.32 hours.
