Young talent impresses in Bolzano

The U16 athletes particularly shone in Haslach. Hanna Pichler from the South Tyrol Team Club ran the 300 m in a strong 40.64 seconds and set a new national record. The flagship of SSV Bruneck won the 80 m, 80 m hurdles and the 100+200+300+400 m relay. Among the boys of the same age, Frederic Schöpf and Manuel Antonucci, both from SV Lana, as well as Maximilian Springeth from SAB each celebrated double victories. Antonucci was in a class of his own over 80 m, Schöpf won the shot put. Both also won the relay competition. Springeth won the high jump and long jump. In the U14 age group, Sarah Peroni crossed 1.45 m in the high jump, Jana Turk timed the 60 m hurdles in 9.69 seconds. Andrea Bassani from the Bolzano club SAB shone in the 60 m (8.21 seconds) and 60 m hurdles (9.33). He also won the shot put and the 4x100 m relay. His teammate Stefano Rossi also celebrated three victories.
