New marathon world record by Kipchoge in Berlin

Olympic marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge stormed to his next world record in Berlin. The 37-year-old Kenyan ran the 42,195 km on Sunday in 2:01:09 hours; Kipchoge set the previous record in 2018 at the same place in 2:01:39 hours. At first it even looked as if he could be the first to beat the two-hour mark in an official race.
