Pedro Mamu and Renate Rungger win the Drei Zinnen Alpine Run
Renate Rungger from Sarnen and the 2012 mountain running world champion Petro Mamu are the winners of the 16th edition of the South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run. The 29-year-old from Eritrea prevailed in 1:22.46 hours ahead of New Zealander Jonathan Wyatt and South Tyroleans Thomas Niederegger and Roland Clara. In the women's race, the two favorites Renate Rungger (1:49.28) and Sara Bottarelli (1:49.43) finished the race in first and second place, ahead of the surprisingly strong Brit Emmi Collinge. Edeltraud Thaler from Lana came fourth. Over 1 runners took part.
