Pozza and Oberhauser are the kings of Kronplatz

The route of the KronplatzRun was really tough: it started in the city center of Bruneck, continued towards St. Lorenzen, Moos, Panoramaweg and finally to the Kronplatz summit at 2275 m.

Marco Pozza was the fastest to complete the 21 kilometers and 1.460 meters in altitude. The mountain runner from Athletic Club 96 from Bolzano needed 1:53:22,9 hours to reach the summit and was therefore 8,4 seconds faster than his worst opponent, Luca Piergiovanni (Atletica Val Tavo). Third place went to Puster local hero Thomas Steiner from the SSV Bruneck Triathlon.

Meanwhile, among the women, Barbara Oberhauser from ASC Rasen was in a class of her own. With a time of 2:19:18,2, she clearly left the second-placed Telmekom athlete Maria Zöschg (2:20:28,8) behind. The podium was completed by Carin Hume (None).

On Saturday, the spectacular KronplatzRun took place in the Pustertal from the bottom of the valley up to Bruneck's local mountain. In the end, Marco Pozza and Barbara Oberhauser came out on top.
