PR| Almost 200 starting places for the Drei Zinnen Alpine Run have been awarded

OC boss Gottfried Hofer has a good laugh. Almost 200 registrations just one week after the registrations were opened is a dream figure. “Before Christmas it was possible for three days to register for the previous year's registration fee of 50 euros. Around 90 athletes took advantage of this campaign. We generated the remaining almost 100 registrations last week. Of course, I'm extremely pleased that registrations are going so well more than half a year before our event. That speaks for our wonderful nature, but of course also for our very good organization,” enthuses Hofer.

The secret of success lies primarily in the wonderful panorama that awaits participants on the 17,5 kilometer long route with an altitude of 1350 meters. After the start at the parking lot at Haus Sexten and a lap through the Sexten village center, it leads the mountain runners to Moos. The athletes run through the lush green larch meadows of the “Fischleintal” to the Fischleinboden hut and on to the valley end hut. Shortly after the valley end hut (after approx. 8,2 kilometers) at the Bacherntal-Altensteinertal crossroads, turn left towards the Zsigmondyhütte. From here a selective serpentine path leads to the Zsigmondyhütte and then on to the Büllelejochhütte at 2575 meters above sea level. From here, the grand finale of the South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run awaits the athletes: from the Büllelejochhütte the route goes in front of the Paternkofel, above the Lake Constance, over the last three kilometers to the finish at the Drei Zinnen Hütte (2405 meters above sea level).

High quality racing package

Another guarantee of success is the high-quality starter package for the Drei Zinnen Alpine Run, which was extremely well received by the participants. This year ALV Sexnter Dolomiten has come up with something special, because this time there is no T-shirt, but a technical backpack from the Skinfit brand. The starting package also includes a Brettljause made from South Tyrolean quality products, the start number with chip, transport of clothes from the start area to the finish at the Three Peaks by helicopter, five refreshment points on the route and in the finish area, a photo service, the finisher's medal and entry to the pasta party with award ceremony.

The starters of the South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run do not have to do without the T-shirt, which is the most popular souvenir among runners of taking part in a race. It can be purchased at a reduced special price of 35 euros upon registration. By the way, registration for the South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run costs 55 euros until mid-May.
