Premiere victory at the Eppan Wine Road Run

Bazzoni celebrated his first victory in Girlan. The 26-year-old from Bolzano and Hannes Rungger from Sarn broke away from the competition right from the start and fought an exciting duel. In the end, Bazzoni crossed the finish line after 10 km in 32.30 minutes, just 70 hundredths ahead of Rungger. Hermann Achmüller from Puster came third in 33.57 minutes.

Pircher dominates the women's race The women's race went to Petra Pircher from Lasa. The 46-year-old from the Vinschgau Rennerclub won the 5.000-meter run in 18.21 minutes, 25 seconds ahead of last year's winner from Trento, Elektra Bonvecchio. Local hero Johanna von Dellemann completed the podium with a time of 18.58 minutes.
