Rovereto: 43,95m for Elisabeth Stofner in the discus
At the meeting in Rovereto, Elisabeth Stofner achieved her best result of the season in the discus throw. The 25-year-old from Vipiteno, who competed for the host club, threw 43,95m in her fourth attempt and missed her South Tyrolean record (45,74m) by just 1,79 meters. Stofner won ahead of Angela Perbellini from Verona.
