Rovereto: Two medals at the end

Yesterday the two all-rounders from SV Lana, Simon Zandarco and Linda Maria Pircher, won silver and bronze in the decathlon and heptathlon. The victory went to Eleonora Marchiando, who was able to hold her own in a strong 55.16 seconds ahead of Linda Olivieri (55.54). Infantino wins silver in the 200 m, Palumbo takes bronze Antonio Infantino from Athletic Club 96 Bozen, on the other hand, was named Italian runner-up in the 200 m. The sprinter, who lives in London and won the “Tricolore” in the last two seasons, stopped the time measurement at 20.96 seconds, which ultimately resulted in second place behind Eseosa Desalu (2). Federico Guglielmi completed the podium in 20.38 seconds. In the evening, Linda Palumbo from the South Tyrol Team Club also took bronze in the 3000 m obstacle. In 10:22.23 minutes, the Trentino native was only beaten by the new Italian champion Martina Merlo (10:00.01) and Laura Dalla Montà (10:17.11). Veterinarian Katja Pattis finished ninth in 10:41.02 minutes. Discus thrower Daniel Compagno took sixth place with 49.37 m, the same as his teammate at Athletic Club 96, hammer thrower Michele Ongarato, who achieved 61.11 m. Nathalie Kofler and Angela Kier also made it into the top ten. The pole vaulter from Lana crossed 4.05 m and came in 9th place, long jumper Kier came tenth with 12.57 m.
