Sarah Filehner shines at the Ladurner Grand Prix in Val Gardena

Sarah Filehner particularly shone among the U16 girls. The 15-year-old signee from the South Tyrol Team Club even set a new U400 national record in the javelin throw (44,70 g) with 16 m. Filehner increased Christiane Holzner's previous record of 2006 m in 43.75 by another 95 cm. The South Tyrolean record in the general class (600 g device) is 50.78 m with the old device, set in 1986 by Filehner's mother Waltraud Mattedi. In 1999, the standards for the condition of the women's javelins were changed (shifting the center of gravity) so that they flew less far. Gertrud Bacher has held the new national record since 2004 with 48.14 m.

Filehner also shone in the 80 m hurdles, where she was able to hold her own in 12.39 seconds. Her teammate Anastasia Veronesi Vedovelli also celebrated a double victory: The Neumarkt native won both the 300 m (43.56 seconds) and the long jump (4.98 m).

Among the boys of the same age, David Pircher was at the top twice. The athlete from SV Lana was able to hold his own in the 100 m hurdles (15.39 seconds) and in his flagship discipline, the discus throw, with 29.92 m. Jakob Göller, however, won the javelin throw, where he increased his personal best from 40.53 m to 44.67 m.

In the U14 age group, local hero Alessia Goffi won the high jump with 1.43 m, while among the boys, Mattia Bucciarelli from Bolzano won both the 600 m run in 1:41.45 minutes and the shot put with 12.40 m.
