Schumi and Falchetti win the Schenna - Taser mountain run

Numerous runners took up the challenge in wonderful running conditions. The German Bruno Schumi, who lives in Schwaz, was the fastest to overcome the 5,6 kilometer long climb with an altitude difference of 666 meters. The mountain running specialist, who was taking part in the race for the first time, crossed the finish line in 32.53 minutes. Second place went to Samuel Demetz (SC Meran) from St. Ulrich, who stopped the time measurement at 33.07 minutes. Armin Gögele, also from SC Meran, completed the podium in 33.30 minutes. Martina Falchetti entered the list of winners for the first time among women. The 19-year-old from Val Gardena, who competes for SC Meran, crossed the finish line in 39.19 minutes. Behind Falchetti, her teammate Andrea Schweigkofler took second place, already 1:58 minutes behind. Record winner Edeltraud Thaler (41.47) from Lana came third. Schumi and Falchetti win the Schenna - Taser mountain run

The eighth edition of the mountain run from Schenna to the Taser took place on Sunday. Victory in the men's race went to the German Bruno Schumi, while Martina Falchetti from Val Gardena won the women's race.
