Special vacation for marathon hero Kawauchi: “Tougher than everyone else”

After his surprise victory at the Boston Marathon, Japanese Yuki Kawauchi was allowed to stay a day longer than planned. Because of his special performance in the traditional race on the US East Coast, the office worker at a school in Saitama Prefecture received special leave.
