Sprint meeting in Bolzano a great success

Despite the rain, the runners achieved strong results. The focus of the event was the well-attended competitions in the general classes. In the 100 m women's sprint, Isabel Eccli from the South Tyrol Team Club won in 12.87 seconds ahead of the two sprinters from SAF Bozen, Federica Cavalli (13.26) and Martina Natalini (13.44). As in the previous year, the Athletic Club 96 Bozen celebrated a double success for men with Ebrima Bojang. The 20-year-old former refugee held his own in both the 100 and 300 m. In the women's race, U18 talent Federica Cavalli secured victory in 42.76 seconds.

The U16 women's sprint over 80 m was dominated by the South Tyrol Team Club. The 14-year-old signee Sarah Filehner stopped the time in a good 10.64 seconds, a tenth of a second ahead of her teammate Annika Oberrauch from Eppan. Roberta Giovanelli from SAB came third. In the boys' category, Zeno Landi from CSS Leonardo da Vinci won in 9.85 seconds, clearly ahead of Manuel Röhler (10.38) and his teammate Mauro Tomasi (10.45).

In the U14 boys, Mattia Bucciarelli from Bolzano won over 60 m. Daniele Tomasi and Raul Lucas Anderlan also made it to the podium. Among the girls, the South Tyrol Team Club was also unstoppable and celebrated a triple victory with Matilda Adami, Sara Franchi and Alma Agovic.

Many young talents also took part in the race in the Talferstadt. Jana Schrott from Möltner and Leon Elvis Drazic from the South Tyrol Team Club secured the U12 sprints over 50 m.

Sprint meeting in Bolzano a great success

The second edition of the sprint meeting “Who is the fastest?” took place in Bolzano on Saturday. Almost 96 athletes met in Haslach for the event, which was organized by the Athletic Club 200 Bozen and SA Bolzano.
