South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run: Mamu and Bottarelli cheer
The former mountain running world champion Petro Mamu from Eritrea and the Italian Sara Bottarelli won the 19th edition of the South Tyrol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run on Saturday afternoon. Due to snowfall in the mountains on Saturday night, the popular mountain run in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site had to be held on an alternative route that was 12 kilometers long, had an altitude difference of 1300 meters, and the participants took a direct route from the valley end hut to the finish line Three Peaks Hut led. The section to the Zsigmondyhütte and Büllelejochhütte was deleted for safety reasons.
