South Tyrol loses its only marathon

The “International South Tyrol Marathon Sparkasse” planned for October 2, 2011 was canceled for organizational reasons. After 14 editions in Neumarkt, two in Bolzano and the last one in October 2010 from Merano to Bolzano, South Tyrol's only marathon will not take place this year.
