South Tyrolean athletes impress in Haslach

Criscuolo founded the Bolzano club in 1953. At the sports facility in the Drusus Stadium he trained several thousand athletes, including Erica Rossi, Silvana Zangirolami and Maria Grazia Bertoldo. Federica Cavalli showed a great performance in Haslach. The 21-year-old from Bolzano won her flagship discipline over 400 m in 57.22 seconds. Her teammate at the Südtirol Team Club, Petra Nardelli from Eggen, came second in the 100 m sprint in 12.21 seconds, behind Giulia Guarriello (11.93). The Lanan pole vaulter Nathalie Kofler, who is slowly getting fit again after a long injury break, crossed 3.90 m, which was enough for second place. Annika Oberrauch from Eppan also came second in the 400 m hurdles (1:05.61 minutes). Javelin thrower Marina Gazzotti from SG Eisacktal was in a class of her own with 40.69 m, while Alessia Goffi from Val Gardena (40.83 m) won the U18 competition. Ebrima Bojang was able to shine in the men's category. The 400 m runner from Athletic Club 96 Bozen stopped the time measurement in a good 49.60 seconds. South Tyrolean athletes impress in Haslach

The fifth “Memorial Franco Criscuolo” meeting took place in the state capital at the weekend. The SAF Bolzano event was held in honor of Franco Criscuolo, who died on December 11, 2017 at the age of 91.
