South Tyroleans win 7 Masters Italian championship titles

Prast, who starts in the F60 class, showed a great performance in Ancona. The athlete from the South Tyrol Team Club won the 60 m run in 8.82 seconds, improving her previous Italian record (8.96) by another 14 hundredths of a second. Her teammate, F70 middle-distance runner Rosa Pattis from Siusi, was crowned double Italian champion in the 800 and 1500 m. Laura Fedrizzi from Athletic Club 96 Bozen took silver in the F45 long jump with 4.70 m. Indra triple Italian champion, gold also for Giavara Masters ace Hubert Indra (M65) from Lana was at the top of the podium three times. Indra also set a new Italian record in his flagship discipline of 60 m hurdles in 9.68 seconds, and he also won gold in the high jump and triple jump with 1.54 and 10.51 m respectively. The figurehead of the South Tyrol Team Club also came fourth in the shot put. M80 long jumper Silvano Giavara was crowned Italian champion, Giorgio Merola secured silver in the M45 long jump.
