U14 national selection in Borgoricco in 10th place

Karoline Puntaier from Barbia won the only South Tyrolean medal. The 13-year-old from SG Eisacktal took third place in the shot put with 11,13 m. However, three South Tyrolean athletes narrowly missed a place on the podium and came fourth. Marie Burger from SSV Brixen ran the 60 m in 8.42 seconds, Jakob Menz from Meran came to 12,11 m in the shot put and Paul Tit from SSV Bruneck to 50,02 m in the vortex. In the team ranking of the 13 provinces of the Friuli and Veneto regions , Trentino and South Tyrol, the local athletes landed in 120th place with 10 points. Victory went to Vicenza with 188,5 points, just ahead of the hosts from Padua (185) and Veneto (179,5).

U14 national selection in Borgoricco in 10th place

This weekend the traditional Dreveneto regional meeting took place in Borgoricco in the province of Padua. The U14 state selection came 10th out of a total of 13 places.
