U14 and U16 national championship titles awarded in St. Christina

The SAB's U16 women's 100+200+300+400 relay team showed a strong performance. Giulia Telchini, Roberta Giovanelli, Grace Madonna and Denise Pellicini won in 2:27.49 minutes and were only 1.58 seconds below the South Tyrol Team Club national record, set on May 1st in Rovereto.

Denise Pellicini also won the 300 m in a good 42.10 seconds (7th Italian time in 2003) and the long jump with 4,91 m, completing her personal hat trick. There were also three wins for Anastasia Veronesi Vedovelli. The 14-year-old from the South Tyrol Team Club won the 16m for both U80s in 10.81 seconds, the 80 hurdles in 12.43 and the 4x100 m relay with Anna Milena Fritsch, Sarah Fiwickeler and Corinna Adami in 50.39 seconds.

For the boys, however, SV Lana dominated. Patrick Laimer, Christian Stablum and David Pircher all celebrated a double victory. They also set new personal best times in five of the six competitions in their disciplines.

SSV Brixen was unstoppable for the U14 women. The Eisacktaler won five titles. In addition to two individual titles, Marie Burger and Ilena Reifer also secured the 4x100 m relay with Lisa Oberrauch and Fiona Pichler. In the boys field, four athletes improved their records. Jakob Boi won the 80 m run in 8.43 seconds, Luca Andreatta the 60 m hurdles in 10.09, Jakob Menz the shot put with 11.07 m and Paul Tit the ball throw, where he improved by almost 14 meters to 55.66.
