U23 European Championships: Valentina Cavalleri starts in the 400 hurdles on Friday

The U23 European Championships for track and field athletes were ceremonially opened in Bydgoszcz, Poland, on Wednesday. Italy is sending a total of 84 athletes to Poland's eighth largest city, 43 men and 41 women. The only South Tyrolean 400m hurdler Valentina Cavalleri is in the squad.
