Ultner Höfelauf: 600 starters create a spectacle

The focus was of course on the supreme discipline over 17,9 kilometers, in which a total of 137 runners took part. As in the previous two years, Gianmarco Bazzoni from Bolzano from Athletic Club 96 clearly set the tone. With a time of 1:09.55 hours, he was over three minutes faster than Stefan Mair. Third place went to former FC Südtirol captain Hans Rudi Brugger (1:13.59) ahead of Luis Schenk from Val Gardena (1:14.22).

In the women's category, the Merano ultra marathon runner Irene Senfter came out on top in 1:32.23 hours ahead of Julia Schrötter (1.33 minutes behind) and Julia Kessler (-1.45 minutes).

As in the previous year, Alexander Rabensteiner from SG Eisacktal won the men's short distance of 8,4 kilometers in 31.29 minutes. In the women's race, Nathalie Andersag from Kardaun, who competes for SC Berg, won the day in 37.27 minutes.
