Botched start to the season for Obrist and Tschurtschenthaler

For Christian Obrist and Agnes Tschurtschenthaler, the start of the indoor season in Lievin, France, did not go as planned. Obrist, who finished seventh in the European Championships, didn't get past sixth place in the B run over 800 m (1:50.83), Tschurtschenthaler had to settle for eighth place over 3000 m with a time of 9:25.87. Both clearly missed the standard for the European Indoor Championships.
