Vucemillo and Hofer win youth mountain race in Deutschnofen

The girls from the Meran Sports Club dominated on the beautiful circuit around the sports facility in Deutschnofen. In the U18 category, Emily Vucemillo, who starts for the Passerstädter team, came out on top in 9.05 minutes, clearly ahead of the two Sarnen women Lisa Thaler (9.31) and Lea Ploner (9.41). David Hofer from the South Tyrol Team Club took the boys' U18 title in 10.10 minutes. Anna Hofer from SC Meran secured the women's U16 class, ahead of her teammate Sofia Demetz and Marie Schwitzer (Sarntal). Among the boys of the same age, Valentino Melle from SV Lana was at the top. Emma Schwitzer from Sarnen had the upper hand in the U14 race in 6.23 minutes, while Simon Dosser from Merano won the U14 boys' race. The club ranking clearly went to the Merano sports club with 525 points, ahead of the home team from ASV Deutschnofen (144) and LG Schlern (94).
