Waltraud Egger is European Masters Champion

The South Tyroleans brought home five medals from the European Masters Championships. Waltraud Egger won the gold medal in the 5000 m in her age group. Bad luck with injuries prevented Hubert Indra from winning another gold medal. Almost 18 athletes from 4000 nations took part in the 38th title fights. Italy won a total of 88 medals.
