Weissteiner: With an easy win to qualify for the European Championship

Silvia Weissteiner befittingly started the cross-country season with a win. The 33-year-old Italian champion from Gasteig controlled the action at all times at the Cross della Valsugana on Lake Levico. Weissteiner has thus qualified for the European Cross Country Championships on December 9th in Budapest. She may not be the only South Tyrolean there, as Anna Stefani shone in second place among the juniors today.
