Two gold and two silver medals at the national championships

At the Italian General Class Athletics Championships in Turin, South Tyrol's athletes fully lived up to expectations and won two titles. The two 36-year-olds Silvia Weissteiner and Hannes Kirchler became Italian champions in the 5000m and discus throw, while Lukas Rifesser from Puster won silver in the 800m. There is also another silver medal from the walker Leonardo Dei Tos from Vittorio Veneto, who competes for the Bolzano club Athletic Club 96.
