Two track and field athletes outperform everyone at the meeting in Bolzano

With a new 100 meter record and a victory over the 200 meter distance, Ira Harrasser from SSV Bruneck Volksbank dominated the women's races. The 21-year-old triumphed in the short distance with a top time of 12,17 seconds, improving the existing meeting record by 15 hundredths of a second. But that's not all: she also beat her personal best by three hundredths. Less than an hour later, Harrasser returned to the track and was far ahead of her competitors in the 200 meters. Meanwhile, Gioia Scopel from the Atletica Feltre running club won the 100 meter hurdles in 15,08 seconds. In the 400 meters, Alessia Peduzzi was the only one in the field to break the one-minute mark with 57,95 seconds, while Alice Cortesi (800:2.15,64 minutes) from the G. Alpinisticio Vertovese running club won the XNUMX meter race.

The long jumpers had another meeting record to celebrate: Martina Tomasi shattered Isabel Eccli's previous record (5,96 meters) with an incredible jump of 5,75 meters. For most of the competition, South Tyrolean Linda Maria Pircher was in the lead, surpassing even the old meeting record with a jump of 5,80 meters. But with the last attempt, Tomasi passed her and was right to celebrate. Pircher also came second in the javelin throw behind Chiara Goffi.

In the newly introduced discipline, the hammer throw, two athletes from SG Eisacktal Raiffeisen prevailed: Lara Cubich won in the women's category, Nadia Prato was crowned winner in the Allieve. In the high jump there was an exciting three-way battle in which Anna Di Giovanni prevailed ahead of Laura Hofer and Lorena Lingg, with all three crossing the height of 1,64 meters. Good performances from the men too While the women's sprinter won both the 100 meters and the 200 meters, this was not the case for the men. Marco Endrizzi from the Atletica Valli di Non e Sole running club won the shorter distance in 11,16 seconds. Behind him were Leonardo Rossi (ASD Atletica Biotekna, 11,19 seconds) and the South Tyrolean Simon Federer (KSV Athletics, 11,21 seconds). In the 200-meter race, however, Endrizzi came third. He had to admit defeat to David Zobbio from the CS Rocchino running club (21,88 seconds) and Leonardo Badolato from the Athletic Club Alperia 96. The fastest over the 110 meter hurdles was the junior runner Alessandro Gobbi from the US Quercia Trentingrana club, who crossed the finish line Crossed in 15,26 seconds. Federico De Paoli and Julian Bazzana were a little slower than Gobbi, but came first and second in the senior category.

Mattia Pivetta from CSS Leonardo Da Vinci won the 400 meters. The athlete from the running club in Bolzano won in 50,41 seconds and thus improved his personal best time. However, two runners from Trentino dominated the longer distances: Mirko Tomasi (Atletica Valle di Cembra) won the 800 meters, and Nikolaos Loss (US Primiero ASD) was fastest in the 1500 meters.

The jumping competitions were dominated by two South Tyroleans. Alberto Masera from SV Lana Raika was crowned winner with exactly two meters, while Destiny Nkeonye from Athletic Club Alperia 96 won the long jump competition with 6,75 meters - achieved in his last jump. The senior hammer throw went to Andrea Barozzi and Massimo Battisti, both from the Lagarina Crus team, while Marco Pentore won the Allievi with a new personal best of 36,21 meters. In the javelin thrower, Hubert Göller from Athletic Club 96 Bozen triumphed with a throw of 61,03 meters.
