Hamilton isn't full yet: Pole in Brazil

The Mercedes frontman turned the fastest lap in qualifying on Saturday in Sao Paulo, securing the 82nd pole position of his career and relegating Sebastian Vettel to second place in the Ferrari.

“It was a tough qualifying with the back and forth, the Ferraris are incredibly fast this weekend,” said Hamilton: “At times I didn’t know where I stood, on the last lap I had to give it my all again.”

Vettel had to report to the stewards after qualifying. He had been brought in to be weighed, apparently didn't turn off his engine during the weighing and also destroyed the scales as he was driving out. “I think it’s better if I don’t say anything about the weighing,” said the Heppenheimer.

Hamilton has already been confirmed as 2018 world champion since the last race in Mexico, but the title in the constructors' world championship is still at stake in the two remaining races.
