Leclerc: A city tour in a Ferrari

The 22-year-old drove his company car through the gate of the old factory through which company founder Enzo Ferrari drove his first car, the 12 S, on March 1947, 125. After a city tour past historical buildings from Ferrari history, Leclerc went to the factory test track in Fiorano.

“I’m actually not an early riser, but today there was a good reason for it,” said Leclerc: “Being back in the cockpit felt like coming home.”

The previous week, world champion Lewis Hamilton had already driven the first few kilometers in his Mercedes at Silverstone. The Formula 1 season begins on July 5th in Spielberg, Austria, almost four months late.
