SPAIN: Brand: “It is the third time this year that Ferrari has had the fastest car on the field and ultimately failed to take its first win of 2019. While the engine was to blame in Bahrain and a time penalty for Vettel in Canada, in Austria it was a lightning-fast Max Verstappen who bought the edge from Charles Leclerc three laps before the end.”

The Standard: “Anyone who complained about the boredom in Formula 1 before the Austrian Grand Prix because of Mercedes' record got their money's worth in Spielberg. But very few people wanted it to be clear until more than three hours after the end of the race that Max Verstappen had won the Austrian GP for the second time in a row.”

Krone newspaper: “Max-Mania after a crazy comeback. The Red Bull fairy tale continued. It was the sixth win of his career. However, it was hotly debated.
