Verstappen takes pole, but Mercedes is also strong

With his 22nd pole position, Max Verstappen has given himself the best starting position for victory at the Australian Grand Prix. The Formula 1 world champion was 0,236 seconds faster than Briton George Russell in the Mercedes in qualifying in Melbourne on Saturday.
