At the same time, the fourth round of the Italian Motocross Championship for the 125 senior, veteran and women classes took place in Castellarano (Reggio Emilia). After a faulty second run, Norbert Lantschner (MC Evergreen) came third in the Master MX2 class, Hubert Falser (MC Meran) came in 12th. Werner Clementi from Leifer had to settle for 1th place in the Master MX14 class. Georg Falser qualified for Group A of the top forty and ended up in 30th place. In the women's category, Claudia Schwarz from MC Meran was ranked 21st and came fourth in the 2-stroke class.
