The motocrossers win in Storo

In total, the local pilots took six class victories. Liam Pichler prevailed in the 65 Cadetti class, Fabian Succi from Brixen was at the top of the Challenge MX1. Three titles went to Meran: Claudia Schwarz was in a class of her own in the Girls category, while Maximilian Wohlfarter and Moritz Flarer held their own in the Fast MX2 and Expert MX2 respectively. Serial winner Norbert Lantschner (MC Evergreen) dominated the Master Open race. Five other South Tyroleans won the silver medal. Jakob Gampenrieder came second in the Debuttanti 65, Lukas Messner from Brixen in the Junior 85. Second place also went to Riccardo Baldo (Senior 2) from the Scuderia Dolomiti. Peter Santi took second place in the Challenge MX125 category, same as Matteo Rossi in the Expert MX2. Markus Schweigkofler (Challenge MX2), Mathias Pfattner (Expert MX2), Maximilian Pichler (Expert MX1) and Klaus Schwarz (Master Open), who competed for MC Meran, all came third in their class. Martin Niedermair from Neumarkt (Superveteran Open) also took third place. Successes also in the Marche On Sunday, however, the second of three finals of the Italian Minicrosser Championship took place in Esanatoglia in the Marche. There were also three South Tyrolean pilots at the start. They made people sit up and take notice with their very good performances. In the 65 Cadetti class, Elia Fulco from MC Arco took an excellent sixth place. Liam Pichler from the Branzoll club FerLu Racing came 16th. Lukas Messner achieved an excellent ninth place in the 85 Junior class.

The motocrossers win in Storo

After the summer break, the motocrossers recently continued with the third round of the regional championship in Storo in Trentino. Among the 119 participants, some South Tyrolean athletes also shone.
