South Tyrol's motocrossers shine

An intensive weekend for South Tyrol's motocross pilots, who were in action in several locations over the weekend.

The starting signal for the motocross regional championship was given in Foresto. As so often, Norbert Lantschner was at the top, taking the day's victory in the Master Open class. Marco Belleri from the Branzoller Motoclub FerLu Racing, on the other hand, was in a class of his own in the Open Superveteran category. Belleri's teammates Mario Franzoi and Matteo Pasqualini, who won silver and bronze in the Veteran Open class, were also able to put themselves in the spotlight. Georg Falser - he also competes for FerLu Racing - also made it to the podium in third place in the MX1 Fast class.

The first round of the Rider Expert Championship took place in Cassano Spinola (Piedmont). The only South Tyrolean participant was Michael Rabensteiner. The figurehead of the TTS Motoclub took 2th place in the MX37 Expert class.

At the weekend, the second and final round of the elimination of the Italian Mini and 125 Junior Championships (North-East Zone) took place in Castellarano. Elia Fulco, who starts for MC Arco, came 85th in the 12 Senior class, followed right behind by Lukas Messner from Brixen. Liam Pichler came 16th. Alex Gruber (16 Junior) also placed 125th. All four South Tyroleans were able to qualify for the finals.
