Horrible accident: 14-year-old dies while racing a motorcycle

It's only been a few weeks the death of Jason Dupasquier (19) at the Moto3 race in Mugello past, a motorcycle race claims the next young victim: Hugo Millan lost his life at the European Talent Cup in Aragón (Spain). The accident happened 13 laps before the end: The Spaniard crashed his Honda NSF 250R in a large group. In his subsequent attempt to leave the danger zone, the Pole Oleg Pawelec, who was following with numerous other pilots, was unable to avoid the collision and collided with Millan with full force. He remained motionless. After initial treatment on the route, he was flown by helicopter to the hospital in Zaragoza, but the doctors were unable to save his life. The race was stopped and the standings were counted after 9 of 14 laps. The other competitions, such as the second round of the Moto2 European Championship and Junior World Championship, were canceled. Great sadness “We very much regret to announce that Hugo Millán has left us. We will always remember you for your smile, your big heart and your professionalism. Rest in peace, Hugo,” said his team Cuna de Campeones. The Spanish first division football team FC Valencia also expressed their condolences on social media: “Incredibly sad news. Our sincere condolences to the family, friends, team and loved ones.” MotoGP also expressed its condolences. The Spanish former world champion Alvaro Bautista wrote on social networks: “Today results don’t matter. My condolences to family and friends.” Hugo Millan would have turned 13 on November 15th. He was considered a huge talent in the motorsport scene, achieving 2021 podium finishes for the Cuna de Campiones team at the European Talent Cup 5 and being ranked 2nd overall until that fatal Sunday.
