A pole and good results for Target Competition in Misano

With a large contingent of 6 vehicles, 4 Hyundai Elantras and 2 Porsche Carrera GT3 Cup, the South Tyrolean team from the Target Competition team moved to Misano Adriatico last weekend.

To the delight of the racing team, the result of the previous race was repeated in qualifying for the TCR Italy Championship, as Marco Butti, who was only 18 years old, took pole position. With 35 starters, Rodolfo Massaro's 9th place was also a top result, while the two Koreans JU and JS Park finished behind. In the first qualifying of the Porsche Carrera Cup, the twins Artem and Zakmar Slutskii finished 1th and 19th

In the first TCR race, things didn't go as planned for the young star Butti. Although he got off to a good start, after just a few meters he was hit several times by his opponent Girolami. This caused him damage that forced him to give up. Things didn't go as hoped for Massaro either. He was at the top at times, but ultimately had to settle for 25th place. From the 2 other target pilots came JS. Park to a good 11th place. In the Porsche Carrera Cup race, the two Slutskii brothers finished in the front midfield with places 13 and 14.

Butti is rehabilitating on Sunday

The races on Sunday made Marco Butti forget the disappointment of the previous day. He drove an extremely good race in which, starting from P8, he overtook several competitors and achieved a very good 4th place. Rodolfo Massaro was also happy with his 9th place, as was JS Park with P12. The Israeli twins Slutkii also delivered a very good race, with a total of 35 participants. They were also able to fight their way forward and Zakmar Slutkii in particular was able to bring home a more than good result with P10. His brother came in P13.

The next races for the Porsche Carrera Cup and TCR Italy will take place on November 9th-11th-6th. in Vallelunga.
